How to Set a Keyboard Shortcut for a Chrome Extension

  1. Click the three-dot menu from the browser’s top-right corner.
  2. From the More tools list, open Extensions.
  3. Click the three-line menu from the top-left corner.
  4. Select Keyboard shortcuts.
  5. Click the Edit icon below the extensions.

How to Set a Keyboard Shortcut for a Firefox Extension

  1. Navigate to about:preferences
  2. From the left-hand menu, open Extensions & Themes.
  3. Click the Settings icon from the top of the page and select Manage Extension Shortcut.
  4. Enter a shortcut containing the Ctrl or Alt key. firefox-addon-settings.png Note: When setting a new keyboard shortcut, Firefox will inform you if the shortcut is already in use by another browser extension.

  1. From the browser’s toolbar, click the Extensions icon and select Manage extension.

  1. Navigate to brave://settings
  2. From the left pane menu, select Extensions.
  3. Scroll down and click Keyboard shortcuts.
